Cookie Policy
Last updated: 18 July 2026.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files or local-storage records that a site saves in your browser. They’re used to make the site work correctly, to remember your choices, or — only with your consent — to understand how the site is used.
2. Categories we use
The cookie banner shown on your first visit splits cookies into four categories. No cookie outside “Strictly necessary” is set until you actively allow it.
- Strictly necessary — required for the Site to function, including remembering your cookie preference. Always on, can’t be disabled.
- Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic and improve the Site. The Google Analytics script only loads once you allow this category; until then, no analytics cookie is set and no data is sent to Google.
- Marketing — would be used to measure ad performance or retargeting. Not currently used, and no marketing script is loaded.
- Preferences / functional — would remember minor choices you make on the Site (e.g. language). Not currently used beyond the Site’s basic operation.
3. Consent & changing your choice
On your first visit to the Site, a banner appears with options to accept or decline. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and applies to every subsequent visit, until you change it or clear your browser data.
You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page. Declining or withdrawing consent is just as easy as giving it, and doesn’t affect your access to the Site’s content.
4. Third-party cookies & scripts
The Site loads fonts directly from Google’s font servers to display typography. This may transmit your IP address to Google when the page loads, independent of your cookie choice, since it happens as part of loading the page itself, not through a cookie requiring consent. Google’s handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure aggregate Site traffic — visit counts, pages read, and similar statistics used to improve the Site. The Google Analytics script only loads once you allow the “Analytics” category in the cookie banner; until then, no analytics cookie is set and no data is sent to Google. Google’s handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. We do not use Meta Pixel or any marketing/advertising tool at this time.
5. How long we keep your choice
Your consent choice is stored in your browser’s local storage until you manually change it, clear your browser data, or switch device/browser — in which case the banner will reappear on your next visit.
6. Relation to the Privacy Policy
For details on what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what rights you have, see our Privacy Policy.
